Ocean Ranch

Ocean Ranch was developed in the very early 90s. I remember when it was nothing but flat lots which were being sold by a realtor named Dea Burton. Pete and I bought one with an ocean view on a cul-de-sac street. We were the first people to start building on the entire street and met each and every one of our neighbors as they began to build. My next door neighbors, the Feuchts, built right after we did and they are still dear friends to this day. Now, seventeen years later, I have remodeled my kitchen, repainted, put in wood floors, re-carpeted and now my bathrooms need updating! Times and tastes change!

Ocean Ranch is such a great place to bring up kids. On my street alone there are 26 kids! My two boys were 2 and 2 months old when we were building this house and now they are 19 and 17 years old. Unbelievable!

A gate-guarded community, Ocean Ranch now has about 170 custom homes plus about 25 semi-custom homes mixed in. There are also two areas of semi-custom homes containing about 220 additional homes. A wonderful spacious pool area and tot lot is encompassed by the two newest semi-custom areas called The Executive Edition and The Residences. Many of these homes enjoy ocean views.

As of this writing, November 2008, homes range in price from $950,000 in The Executive Edition up to $4.5 million in the custom homes.
